Membership

– respond to all inquiries regarding the membership and the Alumni Association
– maintain and update membership material (pins and lifetime cards)
– foster membership retention
– collaborate with affiliate chapters
– make recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding changes in dues and membership category placement
– encourage membership committee placement
– work with other committees

Development/ Fundraising

– establish a fundraising plan to include special events, direct mail, and product sales
– encourage membership involvement in all fund raising efforts
– monitor fundraising efforts to ensure that ethical practices are in place to support the school, students, and scholarships
– acknowledge all donors appropriately;
– ensure all fundraising efforts are cost-effective
– work with other committees
 

School Relations

– promote volunteering at school
– facilitate mentorship with Alumni
– work with school administrators to fulfill financial support needs
– foster the Association’s involvement in the school and community
– work with other committees

Scholarship

– develop the application and essay
– collaborate with teachers and counselors to implement essay
– review applications and essays to select recipients
– facilitate the interview process
– make recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding changes in the scholarship award
– work with other committees
 

 

Marketing

  •  develop and maintain the Alumni Association’s website
  • coordinate with the President to produce and distribute monthly newsletter
  • develop and maintain the Alumni Association’s social media accounts.
  • work with other committees

 

Financial Review

  • provide a annual review of all financial records
